Neville State Forest Clean up and Community Education - Rubbish Dumping.
N.A.R.L. Inc. is embarking on a project to clean up the rubbish dumped within the Neville State Forest with the assistance of the NSW Forestry Corporation.
In 2003 Community members assited by the Central West 4WD club removed 2.5 tonnes of rubbish from the forest. It is estimated that there is a similar amount to be removed again. This project intends not only to remove the rubbish but to educate the community on the more practicle, environmentally friendly and financially viable alternatives to dumping waste within the forest and other problem areas.
