In October 2017 we decided to swap our work sessions to Saturday mornings and it has been a great success.
There was an immediate increase in volunteer numbers and now many of our team are younger people who were not able to attend our Thursday sessions due to work commitments.

Having more volunteers means we can get more weeding done each session. We have the confidence to open up new areas for weeding knowing we can maintain the weeding while the native plants regenerate.

Younger volunteers attract other younger volunteers and we are so grateful for the interest people are showing in our site.
