This short workshop will be tailored to commercial growers and will be presented by Rob Niccol from Australian Native Landscapes, who has 25 years of experience in compost-production.

The training is ideal for growers who have crop residues or other organic material that could be turned into valuable compost.

Topics will include:

  • Temperature, moisture and timing
  • Process controls
  • Equipment
  • Matching compost maturity to end use
  • Crop nutrition, soil biology and soil health
