Topic: “WomSAT - a citizen science-based website where citizens can log sightings of wombats and their burrows”

As a leading researcher in the development of the marsupial immune system, and a strong research profile in wildlife immunology and conservation, Julie has over the last few years become particularly interested in sarcoptic mange in wombats. As a consequence of regularly seeing badly affected wombats, Julie recently developed WomSAT.

Julie hopes to increase public awareness of wombats, and the threats, particularly sarcoptic mange, to wombats.
