The next event at the Field of Mars Reserve involves a walk to a Saltmarsh restoration site in nearby Sugarloaf National Park, commencing at 11.30am from the Field of Mars Visitors Centre. On return a sausage sizzle will be available, prior to a 1.45 pm talk in the Environmental Education Centre by Dr William Glamore, Principal Research Fellow at the Water Research Laboratory UNSW Australia and a world leading specialist in large scale tidal wetland restoration projects. Dr Glamore's presentation will have a focus on large scale restoration projects on the Hunter and Manning Rivers. Feel free to attend for the walk or talk only - but hope you can stay for both!
