Bush care in the Field of Mars Reserve

Bush care.

Members of the Ryde Hunters Hill Flora and Fauna Preservation Society, along with local residents, engage in regular bush regeneration at a number of sites in the Field of Mars Reserve and Wildlife Refuge. Some of these sites have been worked for around 40+ years and include maintenance work along watercourses traversing the reserve, weed control along private property boundaries and habitat recreation in old land fill areas of the reserve. Now, all of these restoration sites fall under the umbrella of the City of Ryde's bushcare programme. If you wish to become involved in any of the bushcare sessions, which are held both on weekends and during the week, please contact Council or RHHFFPS. Thank you.
