Many of these projects have been possible through Federal, State and Local government funding as well as considerable hours from our Riverwatch volunteers. Our major focus has been to improve the stability of riverbanks by undertaking Bank Restoration work using a number of different techniques. Funding has also been obtained to undertake a number of River Studies as input to State and Local Government to adopt a comprehensive Management Plan for the Shoalhaven River Other projects that Riverwatch has been involved included Floodgate Design, Publications and River Clean Up campaigns.
