The members of Springvale Landcare Group were concerned about the health of the Bega River system, and realised that our proximity to the river via our local Grosses Creek was pivotal in bringing about change and restoration.

The members of Springvale Landcare Group were concerned about the health of the Bega River system, and realised that our proximity to the river via our local Grosses Creek was pivotal in bringing about change and restoration.
Our approach was to revegetate degraded creek banks to reintroduce diversity of plants, animals and birds and long term to reduce erosion.
