Vegetative Corridor Rebuilding
Rebuilding the Black Creek Riparian Corridor
The college is seeking to rebuild and extend the corridor along the 1km frontage to Black Creek. This is an ongoing project involving the reduction and removal of weeds such as Green Cestrum and Balloon Vine, the planting of understorey plants and extending the depth of the corridor from the creek bank. Students have recently assisted in the planting of tube-stock trees, shrubs and grasses as part of funding received from Hunter Water.
