It would be lovely to get someone from each Landcare group in the region to attend. It's great to be able to celebrate a big landcare achievement, meet other Landcare people and see what they're doing.

Upper Deua Catchment Landcare Group has been good at getting some special guests to attend the event including Turlough Guerin, CEO of Landcare NSW. It would be good for him to see how Landcare is active across the region. Also attending are Steve Whan, MP for Monaro and Rebecca Ryan, General Manager QPRC as well as QPRC Councillor Katrina Willis.

The project has been quite extraordinary. Our colleagues in Upper Deua Catchment Landcare Group obtained the grant in May 2021, and Upper Shoalhaven Landcare Council took up their offer to assist, including specifically running workshops and oversight of the video. However, Covid, further severe rain events, and landslides meant delay after delay. So some years later we are all very relieved with the successful completion of the project as, at times, it was very challenging. That said, the whole project tells a story of building community resilience to build environmental resilience. There have been great partnerships on many levels.
