Field Day Snapshot: Protecting Our Glossy Black Cockatoo
Watch this clip for a brief snapshot of our Glossy Black Cockatoo Field Day in November 2022. The event was a collaboration between the NSW Biodiversity Conversation Trust and Upper Shoalhaven Landcare, featuring presenters from Greening Australia and the Hollowhog.
The goal was to learn all about vulnerable species like Glossy-Blacks (Calyptorhynchus lathami), what they need to survive, and how we can conserve and create habitat for them. We'd like to acknowledge the wonderful work of Spinning Real Media and South East Landcare for crafting this short video for us, the traditional owners of the lands on which we operate, as well as the NSW BCT’s Partnering in Private Land Conservation Program for funding the event.
