The issue

On Friday 17 May, the Upper Shoalhaven Landcare Coordinator had the wonderful opportunity to attend South East Landcare's Grazing for Tomorrow Field Day in Bungonia. The field day was the final in a three part series focused on helping graziers and livestock owners across southeast NSW understand and manage risks for positive landscape, business and well-being outcomes.

With the help of Instant Andy video production house, we were able to capture key highlights from presenters and topics covered on the day. This included: Hear from local graziers experiences implementing sustainable practices; Discover weather outlooks, expert research and tools for sustainable farm management; Explore community and agricultural support services, as well as personal coping strategies. We hope the YouTube series will be of value for all those unable to attend the field days.

We’d like to thank all organizers and participants who attended the Bungonia Grazing for Tomorrow Field Day, especially host Rob Lawson, facilitators Paul Cavanagh and Richard Page, Landcare Coordinators Sarah McGrath, Linda Cavanagh, Nathan Frazer and Erin Brinkley, as well as Instant Andy video production house for their contribution to the project.

The impact

Special thanks also to field day presenters:
This video series was made possible through funding from Landcare NSW’s People Led Prevention project. The project was designed to empower communities across regional NSW in developing disaster resilience and preparedness skills. The Disaster Risk Reduction Fund is jointly funded by the Australian and NSW Governments.
