Local experts Kelly Stubbs from Wagtail Natives Nursery and Lyn Ellis who ran a native nursery in Mongarlowe will be there on the day to answer any questions and provide growing advice.
Please be aware that at these events:
- We’ll be working outside, so check the forecast and wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
- Disposable gloves and masks will be provided, but feel free to bring your own PPE if preferred.
- Growing boxes are 575*385*260mm and each grower will receive 4 boxes (or 8 for those who can grow 400 seedlings). Please ensure you have enough vehicle space to take your equipment home. Boxes come with lids and can stack if need be.
- A light lunch will be provided, but please RSVP with any dietary requirements for catering purposes.
We'd especially like to thank Maria and the team at Braidwood Life Centre for accommodating our workshop, as well as the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife for supporting this activity as part of our Bushfire Recovery Nurseries Grant Project.
