All welcome
Ms Windsor, a Ngemba Weilwan woman of Western NSW, grew up collecting bush fruits, catching yabbies and eating bush foods in the wild. She will prepare a delicious bush tucker brunch for us and will also give a bush tucker talk, display bush tucker foods and ingredients and discuss traditional ways of hunting, gathering, cooking and bush medicines.
The menu will include:
- kangaroo and crocodile sausages served with native chutneys
- grilled bush tomato
- scrambled eggs with sea blight & samphire
- native fruit muesli with lemon myrtle yogurt
- damper with native jams and wattleseed cream
Tickets are $20 for Watershed Landcare members and $30 for non-members. Booking are essential and tickets available for purchase from the Central Tablelands Local Land Services Office, 112 Market St, Mudgee.
