Children invited to design wetlands logo
The Friends of Putta Bucca Wetlands are hosting two fun competitions in the lead up to spring and there are great prizes to be won!
The Friends of Putta Bucca Wetlands would like your help in designing their first logo. The logo design competition is open to children between 3 and 12.
The winner will receive a family pass to Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo and the logo will inspire the design of the official logo of the Friends of Putta Bucca Wetlands.
All children aged between 3 and 12 are invited to visit the Friends of Putta Bucca Wetlands website, download an entry form and get designing.
The Friends will also be holding their inaugural Wetland Photography competition and exhibition and are inviting people of all ages to pick up a camera and get down to the Putta Bucca Wetlands and get snapping.
There are great prizes to be won in three categories; children’s category (children aged 3 to 12), teens category (aged between 13 and 18) and adults category (open to adults of all ages).
Finalists in the photography competition will have their work exhibited at the Artisan on Lewis cafe from Wednesday 16 to Sunday 27 September 2015.
Winners of the logo design and Wetland Photography competitions will be announced at the exhibition opening night on 16 September 2015.

Entry forms can also be collected by visiting the competitions' sponsor, Mudgee's 'Artisan on Lewis' cafe.
So grab a notebook, some pencils and your camera and head down to the Putta Bucca Wetlands and get creative. Entries need to be submitted by 1 September 2015.
