November will be the last opportunity this spring to explore some of the remarkable gardens in our region as part of Watershed Landcares' Productive Gardens Tour.

The third Productive Gardens tour will be held on the afternoon of Saturday 15 November. This time we will be heading up into the hills south of Mudgee.

Join us for a relaxing afternoon strolling around some beautiful, productive gardens and pick up some new ideas, hints and tricks from our hosts and other gardeners.

Weather you're a seasoned professional, looking for some motivation and inspiration, or you'd like your own backyard veggie patch but just don't know where to begin, you're sure to pick up a few ideas for your own patch.

This is a unique opportunity to visit a Green Gully garden flourishing with veggies, espalier fruit trees, trellised cane fruit and a stunning, ornamental flower garden surrounding the house. Strolling around this amazing garden you will find it hard to believe that it was a bare site just 8 years ago.

The tour will conclude with a scrumptious afternoon tea and a chance to chat and mingle with other Watershed Landcare members and keen gardeners.

This event is free to attend but you must register. The self drive Productive Garden Tours have proven to be very popular and if the last tour is anything to go by numbers will fill up fast!

RSVP to Agness Knapik, Watershed Landcare Coordinator, on 0435 055 493 or info@watershedlandcare.com.au, to book your spot.

This event is supported by Watershed Landcare.
