Watershed Landcare would like to invite all members and the community to our Annual General Meeting, dinner and trivia night.

The AGM will be held on Friday 28 November at the Straw Bale Shed at the Australian Rural Education Centre (AREC), 6pm for a 6:30pm start.

The Landcare movement has had a bumpy ride this year. First, with the Federal Government cutting all Landcare funding then, after public outrage, announcing they would continue to provide funding; although noone is quite sure how, or in what capacity.

Despite the uncertainty, Watershed Landcare continues to have strong support from our members, sponsors and partners.

This year we have held 22 lectures, workshops, field days and seminars, 28 Watershed Landcare committee and project steering committee meetings and 11 Mudgee Microscope Group and Grazing Group meetings. We also hosted our 6^th Greenday, a fully subsidised environmental expo for 600+ year 5 students from across the region.

And the year's not over yet!

With the backing of our members, the group continues to be strong and enthusiastic. We're actively seeking funding from various sources to continue to deliver training, workshops, seminars, field days, on-ground works and projects to protect and enhance the environment and sustainability of our region.
