'Microscopes 101' - We will be familiarising ourselves with two types of microscopes, the compound microscope and the dissecting microscope. There will be a range of samples to practice our skills on but if you have anything you would like to look at, bring it along.

Movie & Trivia Night - David Hardwick, Agricultural Ecologist and soil health guru, will host a Trivia Night. David will also show us some great examples of managing for healthy soil in the 'Symphony of the Soil' movie.

Colin Seis – Colin has long held an interest in soil biology and soil health and his Gulgong farm, 'Winona', is a testament to this. He will tell us about his approach to management on this incredibly diverse and productive place, and there will be some soil microbiology stuff too.
