Waverley Shire Council Bushcare

Bushcare at 5 sites along the coastal corridor: Cliff-top heathland and coastal gully forest- both regenerated remnant and reconstructed sites.

Waverley Bushcare strives to conserve and restore the small patches of remnant native vegetation that are left in a highly urbanised coastal setting. We also restore sites such as Bronte and Tamarama Gullies that have many other values and unique qualities despite the vegetation being degraded to the point where the renewal of native vegetation communities cannot rely on natural process but on the efforts of our volunteers.
