Collaborating to deliver Land for Wildlife
As a Jaliigirr Biodiversity Alliance member, BLI partnered with Great Eastern Ranges and WWF-Australia to deliver Land for Wildlife Assessments as part of their Cores, Corridors and Koalas project on the Dorrigo Plateau, with part of the funding supplying a skilled botanist to tour each property and train the landholders and BLI staff in plant ID.

The Narrandera Koala Count is one of Australia's longest-running citizen science monitoring programs, critical to sustaining the Narrandera Koala colony's conservation over five decades.
Strengthening Koala Habitat Through Community, Landcare & Environmental Education WIRES – TRLA – Warrumbungle National Park Environmental Education Centre (WNPEEC)
WIRES, WNPEEC and TRLA are partnering to protect koalas across north-western NSW. WNPEEC builds community knowledge through student and teacher environmental programs, while TRLA restores habitat using native plantings, watering systems and drone-based monitoring. WIRES provides wildlife expertise. Together, they improve koala habitat and strengthen long-term community capacity for conservation.
