Come to the ELF Community Garden for a day of learning about Permaculture.
Topics to cover on the day include:
- What makes Permaculture different to organic gardening
- What are Permaculture Principles and how can we apply these
- Some simple methods to help you start incorporating Permaculture design into your house block or farm
- After lunch we will be out in the garden doing some hands-on work in the ELF Community Garden, mainly in the food forest section.
Participants will be able to take home a copy of a Permaculture book (one per household) so that you can continue your exploration and learnings in permaculture after the workshop.
Of course, there will be ample time to catch up and share ideas over the day. Central Tablelands Landcare will be providing morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea (please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements).
