- Creating habitat in dams – designing, planting and water quality testing.
11 Mar, 2016 from 09:30 AM to 01:00 PM (Australia/Sydney / UTC1008)
Central Tablelands Landcare in conjunction with our Skillset Green Army Team invite you to come along to our dam revegetation days to learn more about planning for dam revegetation, planting your dam with wetland plants and water quality testing (salinity, turbity, pH etc).
Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
Please make sure you wear suitable clothing (long sleeve shirt, sunhat, sturdy footwear) and bring sunscreen. Also if you have gumboots and/or waders these will be useful as we need to get into the mud to plant the tubestock. A change of clothes may be handy - you are likely to get muddy on these days.
Dates and locations of our three upcoming workshops are: Tuesday 1st March near Cudal, Thursday 3rd March near Lucknow and Friday 11th March near O'Connell.
