WHEN: Monday 9th March 2015, 1pm - 3:30pm

BACKGROUND:  Central Tablelands Landcare cover a broad area including the following localities and their surrounding areas - Manildra, Molong, Cudal, Cargo, Mandurama / Lyndhurst, Blayney, Orange, Bathurst, Oberon, Carcoar, Lewis Ponds, O'Connell, Peel and many more localities - please help spread the word and encourage a broad representation of groups and individuals from these areas.

Members of the Central Tablelands Landcare committee will be in attendance - but are encouraging anyone from any of the smaller Landcare groups in our district as well as any Landcare minded people that would like to start these important conversations in our district to join in.

Topics on the table for the day;

  • update of where things and up to with Central Tablelands LLS and an introduction to your Landcare contacts within the LLS
  • quick snapshot of what Central Tablelands Landcare has been up to over the last year and where we see the next year going
  • brainstorming with the Landcare community to help with
    • the identification of the current issues and challenges for Landcare in the Central Tablelands Landcare district area
    • the development of effective communication channels (from on-ground to local group to district group to LLS and beyond)
    • the sharing of ideas for Landcare projects in the Central Tablelands - no project ideas too big or too small

This is a great opportunity to be involved with helping develop a pathway for the growth of the Central Tablelands LLS and Central Tablelands Landcare partnership.

Looking forward to seeing a good spread of "Landcare" people at the workshop with their ideas for the future of Landcare in the Orange - Bathusrt - Oberon areas.
