TREES - we are growing and delivering them!

Central Tablelands Landcare has a range of opportunities for our landholders to get involved in tree planting over the coming year - including growing the trees and collecting seed. Read on for more information.

Central Tablelands Landcare has a great range of projects that give landholders the opportunity to plant trees and shrubs on their properties with a range of assistance available.  A summary of our revegetation projects available for 2016 - 2017 can be found in the table below (also as an attached pdf). Specific details on each project at the bottom of this article.

We are also offering the opportunity for our membership to become involved in the collection of native seed and propagation of plants for these projects over the coming year.  If you are interested in getting some hands on learning about the propagation of our local species - Central Tablelands Landcare will be running series of workshops and volunteer activites at our establishing SHIPs / Landcare Community nursery.  Maybe you would just like to come along to get some hands on experience of propagating some local plants to use on your property. More details of upcoming events will be posted in our events section and on our Facebook page. Activities will run weekly for most of Dec 2015 to May 2016 - you can come to as many or as few as you like. Great opportunity to learn from our Landcare team members - Sue Wakefield, Sally Kirby and Marita Sydes.

For more information on either of these programs please contact us via email or Marita on mobile 0429 979 780.
