Central Tablelands LLS is joining with Central Tablelands Landcare to host a Koala Community Day at the Perthville Hall (10min South of Bathurst) on Saturday May 11.

 It is a day intended to be a celebration for our local wildlife and natural environment around Bathurst. There will be a range of activities and stalls for participants to engage with local groups, government agencies, etc. There will be presentations, indigenous activities, kids’ crafty stuff and music and food hopefully!

 The event is following on from conservation work that has been done for the local koala population around Rockley Mount, and the koala surveys conducted last spring (songmeter recordings).
