Holbrook Landcare Network is a vibrant and active sustainable agriculture producer organisation Our members have a passion for innovation, and excellence in agricultural and environmental pursuits.
Our Focus is to service producers and communities in the high rainfall mixed farming zone of southern NSW.
Our Aim is to provide information and support to help maintain a productive and resilient agricultural community with a strong environmental ethic
Through a range of activities Holbrook Landcare Network (HLN) deliver the following outcomes across the Murray Catchment with a focus to the east
- Provide producers with information and knowledge for improved agricultural and environmental outcomes, with a focus on long term environmental sustainability.
- The provision of efficient and effective conduits between funding bodies, research and development organisations, industry groups, government bodies and land managers
- Farmers contributing to policy making and strategic directions at the local, state and national level
- A network of regional partnerships that encourage coordinated and relevant information delivery
- Provision of an extension delivery mechanism
- Provision of financial incentives for environmental, research or education
- A strong supportive agricultural community engaged in the pursuit of Best Management Practice
- Engender a culture of care for the land and community
- Producers with a culture of innovation and a focus on both enterprise excellence and long term farming system sustainability

Murray Local Landcare Coordinator Initiative Joint Working Group
HLN will continue to host a Local Landcare Coordinator and will now also host the Murray Regional Landcare Coordinator
In March 2023, members of the Khancoban, Greg Greg, Tooma, and Welaregang communities in the NSW Upper Murray region gathered for a meeting with great enthusiasm. Their purpose was to revive the Khancoban Landcare Group, which had been dormant for over 17 years. The motivation behind their reunion was the profound impact of the 2020 bushfires on their landscape, biodiversity and community.
