Join MidCoast Council’s Noxious Weeds Coordinator Terry Inkson for practical demonstrations of efficient control methods for Lantana, a Weed of National Significance that nearly everybody has on their properties. Lantana is considered one of Australia’s worst weeds due its invasiveness and environmental and economic impacts. Terry will discuss Lantana control strategies and demonstrate techniques for different situations, and will also give an update on emerging weed threats.

Participants will be invited to join an optional Lantana control working bee in the afternoon. Light refreshments will be provided.
