The Bungwahl community welcomes you to a practical field day on restoring biodiversity and ecosystem health in bushland degraded by weeds, with a focus on foreshore habitats.

Terry Inkson of MidCoast Council will present on topical weed issues and will have a live weed display trailer. Reegan Walker of Hunter Local Land Services will present on weed threats and other threats to shorebird habitats. Miles Dixon of Active Bush Works will take us to a foreshore weed hotspot that the community wants to manage, and will give a practical overview of bush regeneration site assessment and strategy, plus efficient and safe weed killing techniques.
