The restoration of Mulligans Flat’s ecosystems and reintroductions of locally extinct species would not be possible without quality science. How do we bring back Eastern Quolls to mainland Australia? How can we remove rabbits across 485 hectares of woodlands? These are just some of the questions asked, and tested, before embarking on successful conservation projects at Mullligans Flat.

To share these scientific stories with the community, we will be hosting Science in the Sanctuary at the Forde Community Centre on Thursday the 6 of July. We invite everyone to come along and chat to researchers, staff and volunteers at the Australian National University, Woodlands and Wetlands Trust and Parks and Conservation service who are working to say #notoextinction every day.
