Report on the survey 'Landholder's Perception of Wild Deer'
The recent 2020 covered multiple areas in and around the Bredbo and Michelago region. Over 4 weeks this fire burnt across native forest and agricultural lands. Our project controlled feral predators within areas directly affected by the fire and the interface with the remaining remnant vegetation and regenerating agricultural land. Work was undertaken within the Bredbo and Michelago areas that were impacted by fire or within the vicinity of the fire ground. Control sites were selected to address specific vertebrate pests impacts, such as wildlife predation, revegetation suppression and agricultural impact.
