Following on from the success of the last fruit tree pruning workshop at the ELF garden last year - Central Tablelands Landcare and the Orange ELF Community Garden are teaming up again to offer another hands-on workshop on pruning fruit trees.

Ever wanted to get some hands on experience in pruning winter fruit trees? Orange ELF Community Garden and Central Tablelands Landcare are working together to give you a chance to learn and get some hands on experience pruning the fruit trees at the Orange ELF Community Garden.

Join Sue Wakefield from Central Tablelands Landcare as she demonstrates methods of pruning of the fruit trees at the Orange ELF Community Garden.  Workshop starts at 1:00pm and will finish by 3pm.

What to bring / wear.

Suitable clothes for outdoor work (if cold warm coats and beanies, if it sunning maybe a sunhat)

  • Sturdy footwear
  • Sharp secateurs
  • Gardening gloves
  • a plate to share for afternoon tea after the workshop.

We will organise tea and coffee.
