Bombay Landcare Group was formed in the early nineties and is still going strong in the Bombay district of south east NSW. Bombay Landcare are proud of the many projects initiated over the years and are committed to creating healthy landscapes and communities by sharing experiences, continuing our education and building a strong and vibrant rural neighbourhood.
Located around 14 km southwest of Braidwood, Bombay is boarded by the Tallaganda range to the west, the Shoalhaven River to the east, Warri to the north and Farringdon to the south.
Bombay Landcare group meet three to four times per year at different properties. Owner occupiers, renters, weekend warriors – all are welcome and we'd love to see you at one of our events. Bombay Landcare is a subcommittee of the Upper Shoalhaven Landcare Council. The Upper Shoalhaven Landcare Council is the umbrella network for all Landcare groups and members in the Upper Shoalhaven, Upper Deua and Lake George Catchment areas. Since its founding in 1995, USLC has focused on supporting Landcarers, as well as engaging and enhancing local communities to build and maintain landscapes with sustainable productivity and resilient biodiversity. Bombay Landcare came under the USLC banner as a subcommittee in 2021.
