Scottsdale Reserve is a 1,328-hectare nature reserve between the Monaro Highway and the Murrumbidgee River, about 24 km south of Michelago village. Bush Heritage Australia bought the former sheep property in 2006 and now manages it. It is part of the Kosciuszko to Coast (K2C) project that aims to connect remnant habitat from Namadgi National Park in the west to the coastal ranges in the east. Manager Phil Palmer will be showing Landcarers and anyone else interested around the reserve.

The Upper Murrumbidgee is an important area for the Scarlet Robin and several areas within our catchment are target areas for the robin project.
