Meetings, research and information sharing
Murrumbateman Landcare Group holds meetings and hosts events throughout the year. Notices are emailed to members. Meetings are usually held in Murrumbateman at the Recreation Ground Hall. As well as meetings, we arrange field trips, such as farm walks (including plant and bird identification), and participate in the Murrumbateman Field Days. MLG also undertakes research, for example, a major project on bushfire landscaping in 2023 produced flammability ratings for a number of native and exotic plant species. See separate link on this website. Information is shared via meetings and other events, emails, Facebook and content on this website.
